Omusubi Samurai

おむすび侍

#002

No one goes hungry on his watch. 🍙

A wandering rice warrior with a simple code:

protect the hungry, share what you have, and never skip lunch.

📖 Profile

Japanese Name
おむすび侍 (Omusubi Samurai)

Inspired By
Omusubi (おむすび) — Japan's beloved rice ball — and the honor and loyalty associated with the samurai.

Omusubi Samurai wanders from town to town carrying his sword, his courage, and—more importantly—a reliable supply of rice balls.

He may look ready for battle, but he'd much rather solve a problem with an onigiri.

❤️ What Matters to Him

Omusubi Samurai believes a true warrior protects more than castles.

He protects people, friendships, picnics, and lunch.

Especially lunch.

⭐ Personality

Honorable. Kind. Dependable. Surprisingly gentle.

Omusubi Samurai takes everything seriously, especially an empty stomach.

He has the heart of a warrior but rarely looks for a fight. If someone is lost, he'll guide them home. If someone needs help, he'll stop. And if someone is hungry...

he's probably already reaching for an onigiri.

Sometimes people mistake that reach for his sword.

They usually look very relieved afterward. 🍙

❤️ What Matters to Him

Omusubi Samurai believes a true warrior protects more than castles.

He protects people, friendships, picnics, and lunch.

Especially lunch.

🏡 Habitat

  • Old castle towns
  • Mountain trails
  • Bamboo forests
  • Cherry blossom picnic spots
  • Anywhere someone forgot to pack lunch

🍙 Favorite Food

Umeboshi omusubi.

Simple. Reliable. Ready for adventure.

A warrior doesn't need a feast.

But he definitely needs lunch.

✨ Special Skill

The Onigiri Draw

His hand moves toward his waist.

Everyone freezes.

Is he reaching for his sword?

...

🍙

Lunch is served.

😅 Weakness

He takes snack protection far too seriously.

Leave your lunch unattended around him and he'll probably volunteer to guard it.

For several hours.
