Inspired by The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter (竹取物語), Japan's oldest surviving folktale. Princess Kaguya was discovered inside a glowing bamboo stalk and grew into a mysterious princess from the Moon. This version couldn't wait for the Moon to come looking for her... so she built her own bamboo rocket instead.
