🇯🇵 Did You Know?

The English word catfish comes from the long whisker-like barbels around the fish's mouth, which resemble a cat's whiskers. In Japanese, catfish are called ナマズ (namazu), while キャットフィッシュ is often used when referring to catfish in general or certain overseas species. JapPop simply asked the important question:

"What if it really was a fish wearing a cat suit?" 😸🐟
