#154

Fortune favours the optimistic. Unfortunately, so does online shopping. πŸ’΄βœ¨

Lucky Yen believes good fortune is always just around the corner.

A lucky break. A surprise opportunity. Maybe even a winning lottery ticket.

Has any of that happened yet?

Well... he's still waiting.

πŸ“– Profile

Japanese Name
ラッキー円 (RakkΔ« En)

Inspired By
The Japanese yen (円), Japan's lucky money traditions, and the belief that good fortune might be waiting just around the corner.

⭐ Personality

Optimistic. Generous. Superstitious. A little too hopeful.

Lucky Yen believes every day could be his lucky day.

Found a coin on the street?

A sign of good fortune!

Got a discount on something he didn't need?

Basically made money!

Bought another lottery ticket?

This time feels different.

His optimism is impressive.

His financial decisions? Less so.

But no matter how empty his wallet gets, Lucky Yen never runs out of hope.

❀️ What Matters to Him

Lucky Yen doesn't necessarily want to be a millionaire.

He just wants enough money to enjoy life without checking his bank balance every five minutes.

Good food. Good friends. A little shopping.

And maybe enough left over for tomorrow.

He believes money should bring happiness.

Although sometimes, happiness costs a little more than expected.

🏑 Habitat

  • Japanese shopping streets
  • Lottery ticket booths

🍣 Favorite Food

Taiyaki (γŸγ„η„Όγ).

A fish-shaped Japanese sweet traditionally filled with red bean paste.

Affordable, delicious, and shaped like a fish.

Lucky Yen considers that a pretty good investment.

✨ Special Skill

Finding Good Fortune

Lucky Yen can find something lucky in almost any situation.

Missed the train?

More time to buy a snack!

Lost a little money?

At least it wasn't a lot!

Wallet completely empty?

Well... tomorrow is another day.

His greatest talent isn't attracting good fortune.

It's believing it's still coming.

πŸ˜… Weakness

Wishful Thinking.

Lucky Yen has a complicated relationship with money.

He loves saving it.

He also loves spending it.

Especially when something is 50% off.

"It's practically free!"

It is not free.

And somehow, his wallet knows it.
