🇯🇵 Did You Know?

Sakamoto Ryoma (坂本龍馬) was a famous samurai from Tosa, present-day Kochi Prefecture, who lived during the final years of the Edo period.

He became known for embracing new ideas during a time of enormous change in Japan and played an important role in helping bring together powerful domains that opposed the Tokugawa shogunate.

Ryoma was also fascinated by Western technology and modernization—which makes imagining him cruising around on a scooter feel strangely appropriate.

Maybe if Ryoma were around today, he'd still be looking toward the future...

just on two wheels. 🛵⚔️✨
